Human Rights Inquiry Public Hearing 9 June

Brisbane Public Hearing

The Queensland Human Rights Inquiry will hear from witnesses in Brisbane on 9 June from 9 am – 3 pm at the Parliamentary Annex, Parliament House.

The campaign's coordinator Aimee McVeigh will give evidence alongside Anti-Discrimination Commissioner Kevin Cocks from 2 pm - 3 pm.

Other witnesses include those opposing and supporting the introduction of a Human Rights Act, academics, representatives of community groups and lawyers.

The public is invited to attend the public hearing.
