A Human Rights Act for Queensland?

The Queensland Legal Affairs and Community Safety Committee has been inquiring into whether Queensland needs a Human Rights Act.

Last week, the Committee held a public hearing in Brisbane where witnesses were called who both support and oppose the introduction of a Human Rights Act. The Committee also heard from advocates, academics and representatives of community groups.
